the day a heathen appeared.

Monday.3rd dec 07.

hong kim (HK), a friend of mine since diploma arrived at singapore for his 2 days trip. being a guy who loves making empty promises, he suprisingly kept to this one that he will come visit before leaving for Macau. at night, we met up with CK over at his workplace, and went on for late supper whereby HK tried the fried kuey teow over here. needless to say, most malaysians will find a major difference between the singaporean and malaysian versions.

the legend.

tuesday.
to start off, we woke up kinda early that day, about 9am. he was raring to go to check out singapore and the malls for one thing : a crumpler bag for his laptop.

we head off to orchard at about 11+ and stopped by at marriott to look for Goh, one of our diploma classmates as well. well, actually, we were gonna look for the HR exec over at marriott FIRST, then look for Goh. too bad for us, Goh had a training session conducted by the HR exec ( $*(&#!@*). soon after checking out Tangs, we head off to Wheelock Place, to one of the crumpler stores which is located in it.

as soon as we reached Wheelock, Goh decided to join us for a short while.

pimpmaster and sugar daddy

we had a chat while looking at the bags over at crumpler, and good ol goh reserved a table for buffet in marriotts later in the evening. of all the days my wisdom tooth had to be such a pain in the ass. wheelock's store lacked the choices of color, so we went to Paragon to look at the other outlet at orchard. there, HK desperately bought his bag haha.

next station, city hall interchange. passengers going towards bugis, pasir ris or changi airport, please alight and transfer at the next station (that's how the mrt goes). well yeah, we did stop at city hall, to meet up with ANOTHER diplomamate, Noreena. we caught up with her after her work, and she spent us a round of SB coffee which she claimed was on the house (hope it's not from her pocket)

Noreena!!!

...and her "on the house" drinks

dinner at marriott's was a pain in the ass. why? cause my wisdom tooth said so. stupid tooth.

after dinner, Goh, and i brought HK to Clarke Quay to show him one of singapore's happening nightlife areas during the non-happening times of the week. there were more people looking at that persian man scooping ice cream and hitting the chimes with it than drinkers at the pubs over there. he looks persian, i'm just guessing he's persian tho.

going to clarke quay and not having a drink even though your stomach is bloated? hell no. after a round checkin out all the shops, we sat down at The Clinic, a shop/bar/pub/idunnothecategory with a hospital theme.

the guy whom you seldom see in this blog

well well, right about 11pm, the three of us head back to our places. i had nothing to do, so i decided to put up the pictures of what we bought on that day.

Yui's first album, From Me To You. ohhh yeah, that's the stuff.

a crumpler bag i bought for a friend. damn that burnt a hole in my wallet. especially the new wallet i bought. damn that burnt a hole in my pants.

the one that i was lookin for.

poser. i asked him to, but he was a natural at being one.

wednesday.

last day for hk to be here before he leaves at 3pm. the dork had to ruin my sleep when he suddenly banged my bedframe.

hi i'm a hot young 22 year old chinese guy looking for a girl to settle with.
in the mrt, we shooked hands before we parted ways (i was heading to work, he wanted to go shopping at orchard for the last time). i would have loved to plant my shoe up his ass for the last time, but honestly speakin i'm gonna miss this joker especially when i have return trips back to malaysia.

HK was sweet enough to give us a souvenir for accomodating him during the past few days.

he left his friggin undies.

i guess the closest resemblance to Hong Kim that i'll ever get here at singapore is..

yeah right.

most memorable moment
me : how do you pronounce Outram Park?
HK : out-ram park la.
me : you're wrong man. here it's pronounced as O-uu-trem Park
HK : O ur lou mou la.
